SKINPEN Microneedling

SKINPEN is a microneedling medical device used to treat melasma, surgical scars, and acne through Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT). Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure involving the movement of a pen-like device with an attached sterile, disposable cartridge tip containing tiny needles over the skin’s surface. The microneedles puncture the skin and create tiny micro-injuries that are not visible to the naked eye. These tiny punctures stimulate tissue regeneration through Collagen Induction Therapy, which improves the appearance of the skin.
CIT is instigated by breaking the old and damaged collagen strands in target tissues via Microneedling. This operation leads to the production of new collagen, which enhances the structure and function of the skin while improving its appearance and addressing skin concerns like acne scars, melasma, and surgical scars.
It generally takes at least three months before a physical improvement can be seen and between 4 and 6 sessions to achieve desirable results.
